Russley Membership Options
It’s important you choose a membership that’s right for you.
If you are starting out, think about if 9 Holes or a Summer option is a better starting point. Maybe an Off Peak suits your lifestyle, by playing afternoon golf. If you are serious about playing as much as you can, the full membership comes with lots of benefits. Full & Restricted members get 3 free rounds for your friends, discounts on coaching, driving range and even club sales. You even get Match Fee’s included – that’s up to $500 p.a saved compared to other clubs.
The annual fees below are for the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026 (monthly payment plan available for subscription and joining fee - if applicable). All fees include GST, Canterbury and Golf New Zealand levies, and hole in one insurance.

Full Member – $2602
Full golf course access 7 days/week, including eligibility for all club competitions, and three free guests passes per membership year (guests must play with the member).
Full Member Restricted – $2393
Full golf course access 6 days/week (excludes Saturdays). Includes eligibility for all club competitions other than those held only on Saturdays. Three free guests passes per membership year (guests must play with the member).
Intermediate U25 – $1018
Players under the age of 25. Full golf course access 7 days/week, including club competition eligibility.
Intermediate U30 – $1744
Players under the age of 30. Full golf course access 7 days/week, including club competition eligibility.
Intermediate U35 – $1744
Players aged 35 and under. Full golf course access 7 days/week, including club competition eligibility.
Junior – $479
Russley has a long history of developing great junior players. Players under the age of 18. Full golf course access 6 days/week. 7 days/week playing rights at the discretion of the relevant Golf Committee.
9 Hole – $1744
6 days/week 9 hole play (excludes Saturdays). Includes 9 hole club competition eligibility and all mixed club competitions.
Off-Peak – $1414
Full golf course access after 1pm, Sunday to Friday, and after 4pm on Saturday. May play before 1pm upon payment of green fee at a preferential rate (Sunday-Friday). Excludes club competition eligibility other than mixed club competitions.
Summer – $1788
Full golf course access Sunday to Friday and after 4pm on Saturday from 1 October – 31 March. Excludes eligibility for Saturday club competitions.
Flex 20
18 Holes – $1448, 9 Holes – $920
Full golf course access, 6 days/week (excludes Saturday). Eligible for all club competitions other than club champs and Saturday competitions. Limited to 20 rounds per annum.
Stepping Stone – $665
Once the Learn To Play programme is completed, the Stepping Stone membership is available for a further 9 months for those who have never been a golf club member.
Parent – $479
Full golf course access 6 days/week (excludes Saturdays) but must play with your junior member (son or daughter).
Interclub Competition Eligibility
18 Hole competitions. Men must have a current membership in either a Full Member, Intermediate, or Junior (with seven day/week playing rights) category. Women must have a current membership in any category that gives them 18 hole playing rights over the period of the competition.
9 Hole competitions. Men and women must have a current membership in any 9 Hole category that gives them playing rights over the period of the competition.
Joining Fee
There is a joining fee for new members in the following categories only:
$480 – Full Member (7 days), Full Member Restricted (6 days), and Off-Peak
$320 – 9 Hole and Country
