The Pro Shop is owned and operated by the club, the Pro Shop Manager manages the operations on behalf of club members. The shop stocks a comprehensive range of all golfing equipment and gear at reasonable rates, by supporting the Pro Shop with your purchases you are helping the club. The practice fairway adjacent to the Pro Shop is managed by the Pro Shop and you are asked to adhere to the rules as displayed on the various notice boards at the entry to or on the practice fairway. Lessons are available to members and non-members alike by arrangement with the Pro Shop. A comprehensive repair service is also offered. The tee sheets on which bookings are to be made are held in the Pro Shop and members must ensure that all play is booked beforehand by entry on these start sheets. Bookings can be made a week in advance. Without the proper booking your access to the course may be denied. Scorecards are available for players from the Golf Auto Score System in the Pro Shop, players just enter their Russley member number on the screen and follow the prompts to get a personally printed score card with all your handicap details. The Pro Shop also runs a daily competitions i.e. for twos, net eagles etc which is outside the official competition run by the golf committees, entry for these competitions is in the Pro Shop. All players are asked to report to the Pro Shop at least fifteen minutes before their tee time. If you have a guest then his or her green fees is payable here before play commences.
Russley has a strict dress code, which we ask members and their guests to observe. Smart casual attire is to be worn on the course. We do not allow jeans, track pants, tank tops etc and golf shoes must have soft spikes, metal spikes are not able to worn on the course. |
